Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace – what does it really mean for your organisation?
A diverse and inclusive workplace is one that ensures everyone, regardless of role, nationality, orientation or identity feel equally involved and valued in the organisation and its growth.
It goes beyond workplace policies and procedures and acknowledges the unique needs, contributions and perspectives of all as an asset to an organisation. Research has shown some of the benefits of diverse and inclusive workplaces include gains in competitive advantage through higher engagement, more creativity, higher levels of collaboration, staff satisfaction and better retention levels.
If you are looking to strengthen your organisation’s approach to diversity, our thought-provoking one-day program gives participants an understanding of the personal and economic need to embrace inclusion practices, and the benefits, barriers, and expectations of what it means to live and work with diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Participants in this program will:
- Build personal relevance around what diversity and inclusion means;
- Identify their own beliefs and attitudes in relation to diversity and inclusion in various areas;
- Understand the personal and business benefits of diversity and inclusion;
- Determine the internal and external barriers that prevent inclusion in the workplace and learn what to do when the barrier presents itself;
- Learn how to embed diversity into plans and day-to-day operations; and
- Discover how to support the development of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
This program is aligned to the nationally recognised Diploma-level unit of competency, BSBLDR521 Lead the development of diverse workforces.
This program can be customised for your industry and workplace and we can deliver the one-day program either face-to-face at your workplace, or via our live instructor-led online platform, LDN-i.

Time Management: Do More, Stress Less
Do any of these phrases sound familiar: What did you do in all that time?’, I just don’t have enough time!’?. Statements like these can create stress and frustration, and impact workplace relationships and performance.
It’s expected we are masterful in the critical skill of time management but how do we gain those skills?
Leadership Dimension’s half-day Time Management: Do More, Stress Less’ program helps participants to; explore the barriers to effective time management, identify their own individual time-wasting activities and explore methods to enable them to work smarter, not harder.
They’ll gain the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities at work, including:
- Learning how to plan, prioritise, and organise conflicting priorities;
- Exploring how to manage distractions and overcome procrastination;
- Understanding how to clarify objectives and negotiate deadlines;
- Discovering how to manage stakeholders’ expectations; and
- Building trust and confidence that participants will deliver on what was promised when it was promised.
At the conclusion of the program, participants will have created their own personalised time management action plan they will be able to implement immediately after the program.
This program can be customised for your industry and workplace and we can deliver the one-day program either face-to-face at your workplace, or via our live instructor-led interactive online platform, LDN-i.

Leading Through Change
If the last 18 months has taught us anything, it’s that change and uncertainty is constant.
Not only do Leaders need to understand how the forces of change impact on business operations, but they also need to assess which strategies are more likely to engage and support staff in uncertain and turbulent environments.
Our Leading Through Change’ one-day program supports leaders to:
- Understand how change affects performance and a Leader’s role in this journey;
- Recognise the signs of change fatigue, what causes it and potentially what could tip people over the edge; and
- Discover what people need most during change and what a Leader can do to help their team manage change fatigue and uncertainty (including the impact upon people’s reactions and emotions) and create a climate of certainty in the face of shifting priorities.
At the end of the program leaders will:
- Understand how the forces of change impact on business operations and how leaders/ managers can adapt in times of uncertainty;
- Assess which strategies are more likely to engage and support staff in a turbulent environment;
- Implement communication strategies designed to create certainty around constant change; and
- Apply key principles back in the workplace and help to develop a change management process
This is an accredited program which leads to the unit of competency BSBTWK503 Manage meetings.
This program can be customised for your industry and workplace and we can deliver the one-day program either face-to-face at your workplace, or via our live instructor-led interactive online platform, LDN-i.
